Sunday Sevens #6 (#37 on T&B)

Sunday, May 24, 2015

Hello my lovelies.  I have been going strong in Me-Made-May until this week.  I've been under the weather.  Who gets a cold when the weather turns warm?  I mean, seriously, all school year long I dodged the flu and several colds.  I guess I am due...

1. MMM15-- again, I wore handmade outfits (B6182, Simplicity 2444, Paperbag Pants, Day of the Dead dress, Belcarra blouse) but forgot to take pictures a couple of days.
2.  Indoor hitting practice because of the 20% chance of rain in which the sky opened up and poured.
3.  Little nook downtown that screams "Read a book on my bench!"
4.  I had a stroll through Art Alley (a lane that is jammed packed with many art galleries) and found this impromptu piece.
5.  Carbonating the newest beer!  It is a gluten-free beer for a friend.  We'll see how it turns out.
6.  Last bike ride to school as a 2nd grader.  Summer is here.
7.  Celebrating the end of a successful school year!  Jules made highest marks all year long.  He deserved some oysters and a Shirley Temple. I rewarded myself with a lemon-gin cocktail.

Sunday Sevens is the brain child of Natalie at Threads and Bobbins.  The idea is that each week you may not have enough for a full blog post but you do have interesting stories or pictures to share.  Capture seven things and share!

  1. Well done Jules - and I am sure the congrats should go you and the Chemist as well - you must both have given Jules the support he needed. A well deserved G and L. Love all your little pictures of life in your part of the world.
